Click on the links below to see photographs of over 130 sewing machines from the Sewmuse collection, together with information about the manufacturers that produced them. The machines are arranged according to country of origin so for instance both Singer and Howe are classed as British as the factories that produced our particular examples were in Glasgow, Scotland. Weir however comes under both Canadian and British as the original machine was produced by Raymond in Guelph, Canada, Weir being the Company's London selling agent who then established his own factory in London.
